Abstract

The article analyzes the relationship between cognitive style and psychological type. The first part is devoted to the cognitive style construct. Different models of cognitive styles, the ways of their measurement, and their comparison to other aspects of personality are discussed. The second part covers the psychological type construct, according to K. Jung, I. Myers and K. Briggs. In the third part, investigations on the relationship between cognitive style and psychological type are presented, while the stress is on the understanding that cognitive style is an aspect of psychological type. Статья анализирует литературу о релации между когнитивном стиле и психологическом типе. Первая часть касается конструкта когнитивного стиля. Рассматриваются разные модели когнитивного стиля, способы его измерения, как и его сопостовления с другими аспектами личности. Вторая часть рассматривает конструкт психологического типа в понимании К. Юнга, К Майерса и И. Бригса. В третьей части представлены исследования о взаимосвязи когнитивный стил – психологический тип. Акцент ставится на понимании, что когнитивный стиль является аспектом модели психолотического типа.
